2. What data we collect
• Basic website analytics
We use Google Analytics (and occasionally Search Console) to see which pages are popular.
These tools set cookies and collect anonymous usage data such as:
- pages visited
- browser type and device
- approximate location (city or region)
This helps us understand what people enjoy so we can make more of it.
We don’t see or store personally identifiable information.
• Advertising
We display ads via Google AdSense.
Google may use cookies or similar technologies to show personalised or non-personalised ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can manage or opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
• Contact forms or email
If you email us or use a contact form, we’ll receive whatever information you choose to provide (name, email, message).
We use it only to reply and then archive or delete it.
• Embedded content
Song pages may include embedded YouTube videos or social media content.
Embedded content behaves as if you visited those sites directly, which means they may collect data or set cookies according to their own privacy policies.
• Server & security logs
Our hosting platform (and Cloudflare, which provides CDN and security) automatically logs basic technical data—IP addresses, browser type, and error messages—to keep the site running safely.
These logs are kept short-term and are not used for marketing.
3. Cookies
Cookies are tiny bits of data stored in your browser.
We use them only for:
- remembering preferences (like consent choices)
- analytics and advertising (via Google)
You can delete or block cookies any time through your browser settings.
4. Data retention
We keep analytics data for up to 26 months (Google’s default) and email correspondence until we’ve replied or resolved your query.
No other long-term personal data is stored.
5. Your rights (EU/UK GDPR)
You can request:
- access to any personal data we hold about you
- correction or deletion of that data
- withdrawal of consent for any processing based on consent

6. Children
Uke.lol isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or legal requirements.
