The Clash

The Clash were a British punk rock band formed in London in 1976, featuring members Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon. They fused punk with reggae, ska and rockabilly, and their politically charged lyrics and energetic performances made them one of the most influential bands of the era. Albums like ‘London Calling’ and ‘Combat Rock’ spawned enduring hits such as ‘London Calling’, ‘Should I Stay or Should I Go’ and ‘Rock the Casbah’, which translate surprisingly well to ukulele with their catchy riffs and chord progressions.
